The rooms are distributed on two floors. The ground floor has the open plan kitchen/dining room and “great room” (living room), which is the central area of the house. The kitchen is equipped with two sinks, a microwave, a gas cooker/oven, a fridge, a blender, an electric whisk, a toaster and general kitchenware. The “great room” has a T.V., DVD-player, ceiling fan and a huge home-made couch/bed.

From the great room, one can access the exterior from two doorways: one leading to a patio, and the other, through large double doors leading to a wooden decking. Both of these areas are popular outside gathering nooks with hammocks, tables, chairs, lighting, etc. Another outside spot is the Bar-B-Q area. It has a high palm leaf roof, rock garden with nook-seating, hammock, etc. These outside spots overlook and are a part of the small, flowery garden that surrounds the house.
Through a passageway under the stairs, you will reach the guest room area. Adjoining the sizeable guest room is the downstairs bathroom.

To reach upstairs, one climbs the curving wooden staircase. A bright terraced landing at the top leads to the other rooms of the house. Upstairs, we have two/three bedrooms and the master bathroom. One of the rooms is the master bedroom. This has a large double bed and ample cupboard space. It also has a door leading to a balcony. From the balcony, there is a steep stairway leading to the terrace. This is the highest point of the house, is covered by a high roof and has a view over the bay, into the highlands and over the skyline of Puerto Ayora. It is breezy and has a hammock!
The other bedroom is an L-shaped children’s room divided by tall cupboards into two smaller rooms with their own entrances. They each have a single bed and good cupboard space.
Both bathrooms have bathtubs and installed showers, good water pressure and hot and cold water.
